Filing a complaint

You may file a complaint with TREC if you believe a license holder has violated the Texas Real Estate License Act or TREC rules. Complaint forms and instructions are available on the TREC website. TREC administers a Real Estate Recovery Trust Account which may be used to satisfy a civil court judgment against a broker or sales agent in certain circumstances.
